First 2011-12 Band Info Released

It's already time to be looking forward to the 2011-12 school year, and the Warren East High School Band has released their first information regarding the 2011-12 year.  Some details include:

A full schedule for the 2011-12 School Year.  This schedule is pretty well set, but some dates are subject to change, especially in the Spring Semester (most likely due to weather!).  Please communicate any conflicts with these dates to Mr. Cline ASAP!

Band Fees for 2011-12 will be $175 most students and $250 for color guard members.  Fees will also be due on a payment schedule this year:  $25.00 deposit due Monday, May 02 (which will secure your student's spot in the marching band show); $75.00 due Friday, June 03; $75.00 due Friday, July 01; and $75.00 due Monday, August 01 (color guard only).  This payment schedule has been set up to make fee payments easier than having to come up with it all at once.  We now also accept online payments on our website for your convenience.

For the first time, we will be hosting a marching band contest on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 01, 2011 (confirmed date).  This contest will be an afternoon contest held as part of a double-header with Warren Central.  We have applied for KMEA sanctioning as well, and we expect a very big turnout.  The contest is a big undertaking, but can be a big benefit to our program, and we will need all the help we can get for that!
