The Raider Marching Band Advances to Semifinals

The Raider Band's successful season is going to continue for another week. For the third straight year, and only the fourth time in school history, the Warren East Raider Marching Band has advanced to the State Marching Band Championships Semifinals! The Raider Band will compete in the KMEA Class AAA State Semifinals on Saturday, October 30, 2010.
The Raider Band Qualified by placing 8th in the KMEA Class AAA West Regional Quarterfinals at Butler County High School on Saturday, October 23rd with a Proficient score of 72.40.KMEA Class AAA West Regional Quarterfinals Results:

- Elizabethtown
- Taylor County
- LaRue County
- Hart County
- Russell County
- Warren East
- South Warren
- Lone Oak
- Franklin-Simpson
- North Oldham
- Breckinridge County
The top 8 groups from both the East & West Regions advanced to State Semifinals to be held at Meade County High School. The Raider Band drew 5th and will play at 12:15 PM Eastern Time. A full itinerary will be published as soon as all of the details are known.
