WEHS Takes Best Overall Percussion at Barren County

The Warren East Raider Band performed well at the Barren County Marching Band Invitational, taking 2nd Place in Class AAA, Best Percussion in Class AAA, and Best Overall Percussion in Preliminary competition and 5th Place Overall in Finals Competition. This marks the third time this year that our Percussion have taken Best Percussion in Class AAA and the first time that they have taken Best Overall Percussion.
The Barren County Marching Band Invitational, like the Caverna Band Festival the Raiders attended earlier this year, was a Prelims/Finals event with each band performing twice. The Raider Band performed well each time, earning their highest scores of the season. In Prelims, the band received a Proficient Rating of 75.64.

In Finals, all bands competed in Open Class. No caption awards (Guard/Percussion) were given. The Raider Band received a Proficient Rating & a score of 76.66 in Finals - the highest score received by Warren East since the 2004 season!
