Marching Band Concludes Season with School-Record Finish & Season Recap

The final salute has taken place on the 2010 marching band season with the last performance of "Fire and Ice" at the KMEA Class AAA State Semifinals at Meade County High School, with the Raider Band achieving the highest placement in school history!
The Raider Band finished 10th at State Semifnials with a Proficient score of 73.20, besting last year's 13th Place finish as the highest in school history. Full results are as follows:KMEA Class AAA State Semifinals Placements

Warren East Season Recap
The program-best finish at Semifinals wrapped up the most successful marching band season in Warren East history. It was a wonderful year for the Raider Marching Band. Highlights from this great season include:
- Proficient Ratings on all performances
- Highest opening weekend score since 2005 realignment
- Highest overall score since 2005 realignment
- Named Reserve Grand Champion at two contests (Butler County & Logan County)
- Won Class AAA at two contests (Butler County & Logan County)
- Won Best Percussion in Class AAA at three contests (Butler County, Logan County, Barren County)
- Won Overall Best Percussion at Barren County
- Qualified for program's 13th Quarterfinals Appearance
- Advanced to the program's 4th State Semifinals Appearance; 3rd year in a row
- Achieved highest finish in school history, placing 10th at State Semifinals
