Marching Band
The Warren East High School Marching Band rehearses from July through November, and meets both during school and after school (Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:00-5:30). This ensemble demonstrates its "East Pride" by providing support for the Raider football team and performs at halftime at the football games. It also supports the community by performing annually in the Bowling Green Veteran's Day Parade, the Smiths Grove Christmas Parade, and the Bowling Green Christmas Parade.
The Raider Marching Band competes with other marching bands as a part of the Kentucky Music Educators Association Marching Band Championships. As a part of Class AAA, Warren East has achieved recent success by qualifying to State Quarterfinals each year since 2000 (with the exception of 2004), and advancing to State Semifinals four times (placing 14th in 1996 & 2008,13th in 2009 & 10th in 2010).
All students in the Warren East High School Band are required to participate in Marching Band. Students not enrolled in the course may participate in the Color Guard through audition in April. Please see Mr. Cline for details.
