Co-Director - 7th Grade Advanced Band

Bethney Salmon is in her second year as the Choral Director at Warren East Middle School and assists Mr. Leavell with the Seventh Grade Advanced Band at WEMS.  She is a 2008 graduate of Murray State University.  She received a Bachelor of Music Education and is certified to teach both vocal and instrumental music.  She played the French Horn in the MSU Wind Ensemble with whom she performed two world premiere pieces at Carnegie Hall in Spring of 2005.

She taught for two years at Middleton Elementary School in West Tennessee before returning to KY.  Her husband is the band director at Warren Central High School.  They have been married for two years and have three dogs:  Miles, Lily, and Gracie.  A few of her hobbies outside of school are shopping, scrapbooking, traveling (especially to tropical places), and spending time with family.
